About TEDxESEI School Barcelona

“Embracing Tomorrow” – where inspiration meets empowerment.

In our ever-evolving world, “Embracing Tomorrow” invites us to courageously confront change. We stand prepared to learn and adapt, welcoming novel experiences.

Our theme focuses on navigating shifts in both our personal lives and professional endeavors.

Listen to stories of resilience, discover the art of posing fresh questions, and unlock the door to innovative ideas. Embrace the continuous learning mindset that propels us forward, enabling us to seize tomorrow’s opportunities with confidence.

And as we delve deeper into the heart of “Embracing Tomorrow,” we’ll shine a spotlight on the dynamic landscape of the future of work. We’ll explore the skills that are becoming more important in the job market, from problem-solving to creativity to tech-savviness. Just like honing our skills in a sport, we’re nurturing these abilities today to stay relevant in the exciting opportunities that lie ahead, be it in 3, 5, or 10 years.

But “Embracing Tomorrow” is not just about skills – it’s about the mindset that empowers us. It’s about adopting a curious and open mindset that looks forward to change. It’s similar to embarking on a journey of future exploration, always eager to learn and uncover new horizons.

Throughout the “Embracing Tomorrow” experience, we’ll have the privilege of hearing from individuals who have thrived in the ever-evolving world of work. They’ll share their insights on how they adapted and flourished, offering valuable guidance for us all. We’ll learn to pose questions that challenge the norm and approach things with fresh, creative perspectives. This is our opportunity to discover how we can shape our own paths and navigate change with confidence.

So, let’s come together under the “Embracing Tomorrow” theme, united by a desire to learn, grow, and approach the future with enthusiasm and optimism. The journey ahead is exciting, and by embracing tomorrow, we can forge a path toward a brighter and more empowered future.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

About TED

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading, often in the form of short talks delivered by leading thinkers and doers. Many of these talks are given at TED Conferences, intimate TED Salons and thousands of independently organised TEDx events around the world. Videos of these talks are made available, free, on TED.com and other platforms. Audio versions of TED Talks are published to TED Talks Daily, available on all podcast platforms.

TED’s open and free initiatives for spreading ideas include TED.com, where new TED Talk videos are posted daily; TEDx, which licenses thousands of individuals and groups to host local, self-organized TED-style events around the world; the TED Fellows program, which selects innovators from around the globe to amplify the impact of their remarkable projects and activities; The Audacious Project, which surfaces and funds critical ideas that have the potential to impact millions of lives; TED Translators Program, which crowdsources the subtitling of TED Talks so that big ideas can spread across languages and borders; and the educational initiative TED-Ed. TED also offers TED@Work a program that reimagines TED Talks for workplace learning. TED also has a growing library of original podcasts, including The TED Interview with Chris Anderson, WorkLife with Adam Grant, Far Flung with Saleem Reshamwala and How to Be a Better Human.
